Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig 21st September, 1983). 21 in 1983) is a well-known American actress. Most notably, she was the character Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost television show, as well as Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Her parents had divorced and she relocated with her mother in Los Angeles. She also was a guest in the sixth season of Californication. She plays Faith as a female groupie and also a model for actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She is a member of the Gyllenhaal Family she's the daughter and older sister of the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was a teenager She began working as a small part-time actress for her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko alongside her brother. Her subsequent roles included Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, both 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated for the Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) as well as the romantic comedy Secretary (2002). The two films received acclaim from critics. Following several commercially-successful films, such as World Trade Center in 2006 she gained greater recognition in the role of Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). After her successful performance as an unmarried mother of Crazy Heart (2009), she earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She then was in comedies and dramas, including Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012 Some of her other parts include acting as a Secret Service agent of The Secret Service in White House Down 2013, as a singer in Frank 2014 and also the role of a teacher in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the title role. Gyllenhaal started her career as a screenwriter and director in 2021 when she wrote and directed The Lost Daughter, a psychological drama. The Lost Daughter. The film was awarded Best Screenplay at The Venice International Film Festival, and it was nominated by the Academy Award.
